How to publish a binder

Once you have created your binder (see How to create a binder for more details) and you are ready to make it available to the attendees and recipients it must be published.

This is a very simple process but there are several publish options you should understand.

When you click on the publish button you will see the following:

If you click on Yes, the binder will be prepared and made available the attendees and recipients you have selected. If you leave the ‘Send Notification to Attendees and Recipients’ option checked each of the attendees and recipients will receive an email notification. If they are using any of the native applications (iOS, iPadOSmacOS or Windows) they will also receive a notification to each of the devices they use.

If the ‘Send out meeting invite with binder notification’ is also selected, the attendees and recipients will receive a meeting invite along with the notification email.

If you wish to send a custom notification message, check ‘Send custom notification message’ and the message can be customised. Select ‘Create new’ and create a message to meet your needs. You can import binder data from the list by dragging a lozenge or specific binder details from the text replacement list.

Lastly, selecting the ‘Schedule meeting in calendar’ checkbox will create an event entry in the internal Athena Board calendar. It should be noted that this does not sync with the users local calendar, unless they select that option in the native applications.
